RootRain X2 is a large root irrigation and aeration system for trees in urban areas with impervious surface paving.

Areas of use

As a rule, RootRain X2 is used in association with a StrataCell™ installation but it can also be used in places where a StrataCell™ construction is not required.

Description

As the tree grows, the root zone extends correspondingly and becomes larger than the original planting pit. A watering bag or smaller watering and aeration system under the surface is now no longer capable of providing the entire root system with water and oxygen. With a diameter of about 4 metres, RootRain X2 extends the root zone until the tree has reached an age where the roots are well established and can take care of themselves.
