Areas of use

The Geocomposite membrane is an integral part of the StrataCell™ and RootSpace™ systems. Its primary function is to protect the surrounding paving against settling damage. In addition, the membrane prevents external earth and particles from mixing with the planting soil in the tree pit.

When using StrataCell™ it is a good idea to calculate sufficient Geocomposite membrane to cover both the surface and sides of the finished construction.

When using RootSpace™ it is a good idea to calculate sufficient Geocomposite membrane to cover both the surface and the uppermost 15 cm of the sides of the finished construction.

Description

The high tensile strength of the Geocomposite membrane has been achieved using a non-woven geotextile with vulcanised polypropylene reinforcement. This material combination provides a robust and resistant membrane, which at the same time is both lightweight and easy to work with.
